El Grupo de Trabajo estuvo presidido por José Manuel Leceta, actualmente Director General de Red.es. Andrea Renda, CEPS Senior Research Fellow, Totti Könnölä, CEO de Insight Foresight Institute y Felice Simonelli, CEPS Research Fellow, actuaron como ‘rapporteurs’. IDEAS PRINCIPALES El libro establece los elementos para el diseño de una política racionalizada sobre la innovación y el emprendimiento en Europa. El resultado de estas deliberaciones es un conjunto de recomendaciones políticas dirigidas a mejorar el entorno global y el enfoque para el emprendimiento y la innovación en Europa y una nueva comprensión paradigmática del papel que la innovación y el emprendimiento pueden y deben desempeñar dentro del contexto general de la política de la UE. Estas recomendaciones se basan en un nuevo enfoque multidimensional tanto de la innovación y del emprendimiento como de fenómenos sociales y de las políticas que tienen por objeto promoverlos.

Towards the governance of entrepreneurial innovation ecosystems PLACES: Collaboration spaces and platforms as drivers of innovation and entrepreneurship Coupling pan-European innovation ecosystems with regional entrepreneurial ecosystems Towards the governance of entrepreneurial innovation ecosystems Enabling knowledge flows, open science and data-driven innovation Platforms foster collaboration and entrepreneurship: Policy-makers should engage with them, not fight them Europe must courageously speed up a platform economy More scaleups are urgently needed!

CONCLUSION: A window of opportunity Restructure EU policies in a way that favours socially relevant innovation and create a simpler, comprehensive policy environment in which entrepreneurship can flourish. Refocus and realign EU policies towards sustainable development fostered by innovation and entrepreneurship. This requires a multi-level effort towards promoting an integrated, dynamic single market.
