Indirect Object Indirect object is the person who receives the direct object or the person who benefits from the action of the verb. Use the preposition a before an indirect object El peluquera le corta el pelo a la señora. The hairdresser cut the woman’s hair.

Indirect Object Pronoun Stands for indirect object noun Can take the place of the indirect object noun or be used together with it Un cocinero le cocina la comida a Juan. The cook cooks Juan’s food. The cook cooks his food.
