Introduction to World Communities Family Project The students and families of class 301 and 302 are working on a home project highlighting the importance of the family history and culture! Task: The students will design a project on poster board or a tri-fold board. The students will select the country that their family is from. On the board include the following: A title with the country’s name, your name, and class The county’s flag and a map of where the country is located Writing and/or pictures about the country’s traditions, food, clothing, dances, weather, sports, and music Write about special traditions you and your family celebrate Parents will be invited to come in and take part in the presentations to the class
Introducción a las comunidades mundiales Proyecto familiar Los estudiantes y familias de la clase 301 y 302 van a trabajar en un proyecto multicultural donde van a enfatizar la importancia de la historia familiar y su cultura. Trabajo: Los estudiantes van a diseñar un proyecto en un cartel, cartulina (con tres secciones). Ellos van a elegir el país de origen de su familia o quizás otro de interés. En el poster incluye: El titulo con el nombre del país, el nombre del estudiante y clase. La bandera del país y un mapa donde esta ubicado. Escribe o muestra visuales (apropiados) acerca de las tradiciones, comida, vestimenta, bailes, deportes, música o clima. Escribe acerca de las tradiciones que tu familia y tu celebran en tu hogar. Los padres van a ser invitados a que sean parte de la presentación en la clases de los proyectos.
