4 Peer editing—Show your poem to a partner. Your partner will check the following: Does the poem include all of the information? Did you use the correct forms of the adjectives and verbs? Is there anything you should add or change? Revising—Make any necessary changes or corrections to your poem. Publishing—Rewrite the corrected poem neatly on a sheet of printer paper. You may also decorate it if you wish. Then turn in the poem.
