Present Progressive We use the present progressive tense when we want to emphasize that something is happening right now.
Present Progressive Present Progressive in Spanish is a complex verb form that tell what is happening right now. It consists of a helping verb “estar” and a participle. The participle is formed by adding either “-ando” (for –ar verbs) or “-iendo” (for –er and –ir verbs) to the stem of the verb.
The conjugation of estar is: estoy estás está estamos están
