CLASSROOM NEWS Upcoming Events The Teacher’s Scoop! Week of February 13th-17th  sarah_crawford@iss.k12.nc.us Upcoming Events The Teacher’s Scoop! Dear Parents, I hope everyone had a great weekend! We had a wonderful 100th Day of School! This week we learned how to tell and write time to the hour and half-hour, wrote about “If I were 100”, practiced our handwriting, etc. Feb 15th – Early Release Day Feb 23rd – Progress Reports Spelling Words: help, see, keep, next, these, need, resting, sleep, feelings, green, their, soon Sentences: 1. Their big tree is very green. 2. I feel like going to sleep soon. The Spelling Test will be on Friday!  What We Are Learning Next Week Reading: Character and Setting Daily 5: Writing about “Valentines Day“ , continuing Guided Reading Groups, Word Work, and Read to Self LetterLand: Syllables and understanding spoken words and sounds (phonemes) Math: Data and Graphing Ksgiving WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK Star Student of the Week Snack Reminder Monday – Ariston Tuesday – Jayden Wednesday – Ivyianna Thursday – Jeffrey Friday – Amelia On your child’s snack day, please send enough snacks for 21 students.
