Possessive Adjectives/ Adjetivos Posesivos Possessive adjectives tell us to whom something belongs. In Spanish, if the “thing” is singular, the possessive adjective is singular. If the the “thing” is plural, the possessive adjective is plural. English: Spanish: Our family Nuestra familia Our cousins Nuestros primos Their grandmother Su abuela Their grandparents Sus abuelos Nuestro (Our) has a masculine and feminine form, as well as a singular and plural form. Nuestro perro, Nuestra gata, Nuestros primos, Nuestras primas.
