Possessive Adjectives Yo – mi/misNosotros(as) – Nuestro(a)/Nuestros(as) Tú – tu/tus----- Él, ella, Ud. – su/susEllos, ellas, Uds – su/sus Possessive Adjectives in Spanish We learned before that regular adjectives go after the noun, however, possessive adjectives go before the noun.

5 EXAMPLES We learned before that regular adjectives go after the noun, however, possessive adjectives go before the noun. Mi prima. Mis primas. Tu tío. Tus tíos. Su hermano. Sus hermanos. Sus hermanos. Nuestro perro. Nuestra perra. Nuestros perros. Nuestras perras. Su gato. Sus gatos. My cousin. My cousins. Your uncle. Your uncles. His brother. His brothers. Our dog. (M) Our dog. (F) Our dogs. (M) Our dogs. (F) Their cat. Their cats. In the case of “nuestro/a and nuestros/as” you need to make sure you make this possessive adjective agree in number and gender with the noun…just like regular adjectives.
