DOP Use in Spanish In Spanish, the direct object pronoun follows the same placement rules as reflexive pronouns: BEFORE THE CONJUGATED VERB HANGING ON TO THE INFINITIVE

Using Direct Object Pronouns If you say, “I cut the grass.”, when you talk about it again, you might say, I cut ________.” I cut it. It is your direct object pronoun (DOP).

Using Direct Object Pronouns If you say, “We washed the dishes.”, when you talk about it again, you might say, “We washed ________.” We washed them. Them is your direct object pronoun (DOP).
