¿Masculino o feminino?

In English, this word has no gender. But in Spanish, it does!

el café. The word for coffee is masculine el café. The word for coffee is masculine. Every Spanish noun has a gender.

In Spanish there are four definite articles that all mean the word “the”. el __ __ __ __ __ las

El, la, los and las must match in number (número) and gender (género) with the noun. This rule is called concordancia
