The Plurals of Adjectives Adjectives describe nouns. In general, adjectives in Spanish come after the noun they are describing (in English they usually come first). In Spanish, adjectives and nouns agree in gender (whether they are masculine or feminine) and in number (singular or plural).

To make adjectives plural in Spanish, just add an -s after the vowel at the end of the adjective (vowels are: a, e, i, o, u) sabroso sabrosos If an adjective ends in a consonant and not a vowel, add “es” to the end. popular populares

When an adjective describes a group including both masculine and feminine nouns, use the masculine plural form of the adjective. La lechuga y el pollo son sabrosos. Las zanahorias y los tomates son buenos para la salud.

In singular form, mucho means “much”, but in the plural form, muchos means “many”. No como mucho helado, pero como muchas verduras.
