Usan el subjuntivo cuando no hay certeza: Adondequiera (wherever) Comoquiera (however) Cualquier(a) + sustantivo (whatever + noun) Cuandoquiera (whenever) Dondequiera (wherever) Quienquiera (whoever) Ejemplo: Comoquiera que vayas, Elena irá. Indicativo: Felipe siempre se sienta dondequiera que yo me siento en la clase.
Cuando hay duda sobre una situación o la acción no ha pasado: subjuntivo Aunque tenga tiempo libre, no lo pasaré con él. Even if I have free time (Im not sure I will), I will not spend it with him. Cuando es factual: indicativo Aunque tengo tiempo libre, no lo pasaré con él. Although (its a fact that) I have free time, I will not spend it with him.
Cuando no hay certeza, subjuntivo: Tal vez (Quizás) sus padres le hayan comprado un coche de último modelo. Perhaps her parents bought her a late model car (but I doubt it). Cuando hay probabilidad alta, puede usar el indicativo: Tal vez le compraron un coche de segunda mano. Perhaps they bought her a used car. (its likely)
