What is a reflexive verb? Reflexive verbs are used to tell that a person does something to or for him- or herself. Ex: Antes de comer yo me lavo las manos Before dinner I wash my hands.

When the doer and receiver is the same person we use the reflexive verbs Me lavo el pelo todos los dias. – I wash my hair every day. Otherwise is just a regular verb Lavo el coche a menudo. – I wash the car often
