Se ha enmarcado en la Cruz todo el misterio de aquel mayor Amor que nos liberta. Todos los pueblos pueden ser hermanos, entre el olivo y el maíz distantes, haciéndose una sola Eucaristía.

Verde está la esperanza de la Tierra, a pesar de las sombras de la muerte, y son todas las manos -de todos los colores- las manos de tu Hijo, heridas de pobreza o de pecado, pidiendo y ofreciendo el Evangelio. Icono de la Iglesia misionera, cuaja en tu Corazón la Llama Viva, y urge tus pies descalzos la Palabra. Te arropa la Promesa, luminosa como un escudo fiel, pero te apremian la Misión y el Martirio.

¡Ábrenos los oídos y los ojos, sacúdenos el miedo y las inercias, danos un corazón de carne y crisma, revístenos de gozo y de osadía, envíanos, al Viento que te lleva, testigos de tu Hijo, diáconos de Pascua, servidores, hermanos ecuménicos del Mundo! Amén.

O Lord, renew is our Congregation and in each one of us the spirit that animated St. Anthony Mary Claret, or Father. Grant that we Missionaries, sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, may be men on fire with love and spreads it flames wherever we go. That we may desire effectively and strive by all means possible to set the whole world on fire with God’s love.

That nothing or no one may daunt us. That we may delight in privations, welcome work, embrace sacrifices, smile at slanders brought against us, Rejoice in the torments and sorrows we suffer and glory in the Cross of Jesus Christ. That our only concern may be how to follow and imitate Jesus Christ more closely in prayer, work and suffering and strive constantly and singlemindedly for the greater glory of God and the salvation of souls. Amen.
