Capitulo 1: Gramática Objetivo (Learning Objective): Students will be able to differentiate the appropriate subject pronouns in various sentences. Demonstración de aprendizaje (Demonstration of Learning): Given five sentences, students will be able to write the appropriate subject pronouns with 80% accuracy. Daily Greeters

Grammar Video: In English, we use personal subject pronouns out of necessity, for nearly all sentences without subject nouns would be incomplete without them. But in Spanish, such pronouns are used primarily for clarity or emphasis, since a verb alone can be a complete sentence.

Flip Chart Notecard (pg.14) 1. Take an index card, fold it in half vertically (hot- dog style). 2. Cut 4 slits from the edge to the fold. 3. On the outside of the flap, write in the subject pronouns on the 5 flaps. 4. On the inside, underneath the flap or on the back, write the verb forms. 5.
