4 To make the negative command… 1. Conjugate it to the YO form 2. Take off the ‘o’ at the end. 3. Add the OPPOSITE TÚ VERB ENDING. (AR  ER; ER/IR  AR) hablar  hablo hablo habl + ES = hables tener  tengo tengo teng + AS = tengas 4. Add “no” in front of the verb ¡No hables!¡No tengas!
