3 Mandatos Afirmativos Singulares  To form and singular affirmative formal command, conjugate to the: Usted Él Ella form of the verb in the present tense. Then use the opposite verb ending.

4 Mandatos Afirmativos en Tú Hablar Correr Compartir habla corre comparte hable corra comparta Ayudar Beber Escribir ayuda bebe escribe ayude beba escriba

5 Irregulares If the verb is a “yo-go” verb, you must remember to use that form in the command: e.g. venir (to come) yo vengo ¡Venga! If the verb has a stem change but is not a “yo-go”, you must remember to use the stem change: e.g. dormir (to sleep) usted duerme ¡Duerma!

6 Mandatos Afirmativos Plurales To form a plural command:  Conjugate to the ellos, ellas, ustedes form  Use opposite verb ending Hable hablen Escriba escriban Coma coman **Don’t forget about “yo-go’s” and stem-changers.

7 Mandatos Negativos To make a negative command, just add “no” in front of the verb. ¡Cante! ¡No cante! ¡Duerman! ¡No duerman! ¡Piense! ¡No piense!
