3 The Verb GUSTAR Gustar means “to be pleasing to”. In English, we say “to like (something)”. Gustar doesn’t work like other verbs in Spanish. Let’s see how it works! © 2011 The Enlightened Elephant

(To them it is pleasing to go to school.) A mí me gusta bailar. A ti no te gusta ver la tele. A ellos les gusta ir a la escuela. Use the singular form "gusta”, when followed by an infinitive
