gustar followed by nouns gustar should be conjugated according to the noun/nouns that follow it “Me gusta el jugo.” (singular) “No me gustan las galletas.” (plural) “Le gusta la leche.” (singular) “Le gustan los huevos.” (plural) gustar IS NOT conjugated according to who likes the noun; just the pronoun

Why? gustar doesn’t mean ‘to like’ but ‘to please’ Me gusta pizza. = Pizza is pleasing me. Me gustan manzanas. = Apples are pleasing to me. There is no verb that strictly means “to like” in Spanish. Gustar is used, although this sounds strange to English speakers when it is translated literally.
