5 Negative tú commands Examples Don’t read. –Leer – leo – le- leas No leas. Don’t come. –Venir – vengo- veng- vengas No vengas.

6 Don’t arrive late! ¡No llegues tarde! Don’t touch the piano! - Verb tocar in tú form = tocas -Change –as to –es and remember the spelling change!= toques ¡No toques el piano! Let’s work on some more negative commands …(special yo form)

8 Positive vosotros command Replace the final –r of the infinitive with –d Corred en el patio. Peinaos en el cuarto de baño. (for reflective verbs drop the d (not for ir though: idos = go away) Comed más vegetales.

9 Negative vosotros commands (take the yo form, drop -0 and add –éis for – ar- verbs and áis for –er and –ir verbs) No corráis por los pasillos No salgáis con esos chicos No llevéis sandalias
