2 Review… You have learned about both direct and indirect object pronouns. They both go before a single conjugated verb. La mujer dio una propina al mesero. La mujer la dio al mesero. La mujer le dio una propina.

3 Using Direct & Indirect Together The indirect object goes first. Compré los pantalones para ti. Te los compré.

4 Using Multiple Verbs Me los vas a comprar. Vas a comprármelos. You are going to buy them for me. Me los estás comprando. Estás comprándomelos. You are buying them for me.

5 Special Cases There is a special rule for verbs with two pronouns when both are third person (both start with L): change the indirect object pronoun to se. (le la & le los sound funny) Les pedí una servilleta a los meseros. Se la pedí. I asked them for it.

6 Practica 1. Tú les das dinero a los pobres. 2. Mis nietos me dan muchos abrazos a mí. 3. Siempre nos dicen la verdad. 4. Le estoy explicando la información a la señora. 5. Ese chavo compra una bolsa para su novia. 6. Voy a pedirle la cuenta al mesero.
