2 1. Érase una vez un kiwi que le gustaba mucho la contaminación por eso vivía cerca de la central que contaminaba mucho. 1. Once upon a time a kiwi who liked pollution a lot, lived near the power station which contaminated a lot.

3 2. Una mañana fue a la ciudad y vio que los coches echaban mucha contaminación y decidió quedarse a vivir allí … 2. One morning, he went to the city and saw that the cars tossed a lot of contamination and he decided to lived there

4 3. Pregunto a ver si se podía quedar a vivir en el ayuntamiento pero el señor alcalde y los concejales le dijeron que no. 3. He asked if he could live in the city council, but the mayor and the councilmen told him that it was impossible.

5 4. Pregunto en la universidad pero el director le dijo que asustaría a los niños y el pobre kiwi se fue triste. 4. He asked at the university, but the director told him that kiwi was going to scare the children: Poor kiwi. He left very sad.

6 5. Fue a la iglesia ortodoxa y el padre Jon palvisII le dijo que no se podía quedar que la gente no iría a misa. 5. Kiwi went to the orthodox church and the priest Jon Palvis II told him that he could not stay because people would not go to mass.

7 6. Decidió ir al centro comercial y puso la excusa de que podría trabajar para ellos si le dejaban dormir ahí y le dijeron que no que la gente no iría a comprar. 6. He decided to go to the shopping center. He wanted to work at the shopping center in order to sleep there. They told him that anybody would buy.

8 7. Decidió ir al campo a vivir el solo pero cuando paso cerca de una bodega la gente le empezó a insultar y se fue corriendo porque le empezaron a tirar piedras. 7. He decided to go to the countryside, but when he passed near a cellar, people started to insult him and he left running because they began to throw him stones.

9 8. Entonces cuando iba por una gran calle se preguntó: ¿Por qué nadie me deja vivir con ellos? entonces se quedo mirando a un escaparate y vio que era muy feo y pensó que seguro era por eso. 8. Then, when he was in a big street he wondered: Why does anybody allow me to live with them? Then he looked at a window shop and he saw himself. He was very ugly and he thought it was the reason.

10 9. Llego a un parque y vio a una monja y le pregunto que si ella creía que el era muy feo y la monja le dijo que no, que era muy guapo y le preguntó si quería ir a la iglesia a vivir con ella. 9. He arrived at a park and he saw a nun and asked her: - Am I ugly? The nun answered: no. You are very beautiful. Do you want to live with me at the church?

11 10. Y entonces el kiwi se puso muy contento y vivieron felices y comieron perdices en esa iglesia. 10. And then the kiwi was very happy They lived happily ever after at the church
