4 OJO OJO: Demonstrative pronouns have an ACCENT on them.
Form of demonstrative agrees with the NOUN it is introducing or replacing. Este abrigo es rojo Esta chaqueta es roja. Aquel refers to things that are far away from the speaker or person being addressed. (over there: allí, allá)

5 Juana: Me gustan estos guantes.
Mario: Sí, pero me gustan éstos. (In this mini-dialog éstos is a demonstrative pronoun because it replaces the noun, whereas estos is a demonstrative adjective because it introduces the noun “guantes”.)

6 Neuter demonstrative pronouns:
Esto, eso, aquello: refer to an idea, fact, or statement that has not been named (general) Ej) Eso es muy caro. That is very expensive. ¿Qué piensas de esto? What do you think of this? ¿Qué es aquello? What is that over there?

7 Refrán para ayudar: This and these have t’s (este, esta, estos, estas)
That and those don’t. (ese, esa, esos, esas)
