In Spanish, you will need to tell the class what colors and shapes are on your flag. In English, you will need to give a brief explanation of the symbolism of your country’s flag.  You need…  Research-based thinking, Analytical thinking, & Creative thinking

3 JOBS  1-2 people: Research the symbolism of the flag  1-2 people: Create a model of the flag  1-2 people (optional): Create a diagram comparing and contrasting the flag to the US flag  Everyone: Write at least three sentences stating what colors and shapes there are on the flag. Example: Hay cuatro estrellas rojas (There are four red stars.)

6 The three stars are of pure white, representing the three grand divisions of the state. They are bound together by the endless circle of the blue field, the symbol being three bound together in one - an indissoluble trinity. The large field is crimson. The final blue bar relieves the sameness of the crimson field and prevents the flag from showing too much crimson when hanging limp. White is for purity. Red/crimson is for victory and bloodshed. The blue symbolizes harmony.
