2 ESPAÑOL EN USO There will be 6 teams of three people and 1 of four people. Every team will choose one topic (tema). You will teach the class the vocabulary of the topic, and give oral and real examples of Spanish in use. In your presentation you will need to use PowerPoint or Flashcards to present your vocabulary. You will need to choose one of the topics in the next slide, or present one of your choice. If you choose your own, you need to consider one that is useful, real and meaningful for a non native speaker of Spanish, when travelling to a Spanish speaking country.

4 Instrucciones para las presentaciones:
Describe la situación y el tema en español con una introducción corta, puedes incluir una breve explicación en inglés Da de 25 a 30 ejemplos de palabras de vocabulario en ese contexto. (Use a dictionary not a web translator). Illustra tus ejemplos con una presentación en Powerpoint o Flashcards. Escribe y representa un diálogo en español en una situación real dentro del contexto de tu tema. El diálogo debe tener por lo menos 4 líneas para cada persona. También debes mostrar tu diálogo a la clase.

5 Rubric: The presentation and vocabulary chosen is related to topic and include real life pictures, preferably on a Spanish speaking setting. Vocabulary appropriateness to topic and level. Meaningful dialogue sentences, grammatically correct and appropriate to Spanish 7-8 level. Real life dialogue situations. Language articulation and pronunciation. Presentation delivered professionally, evidence of presentation having been rehearsed. Evidence of team work. Individually assigned tasks. Extra points will be given for topic originality previously approved by teacher.
