ELL Standard RW1, RF3 Objective: students will learn the English subject and possessive pronouns and how to conjugate the verb To have and To do in different tenses and verb rules.

3 Subject Pronouns I- yo You- tú He- el She- ella We- nosotros They- ellos

4 Possessive pronouns My- mi Your- tu His- su Her- su Its- su
Theirs- sus Ours- nuestro(a)

5 The verb to be (Ser y estar)
Present I am –yo soy You are- tú eres He is- él es She is- ella es It is- objeto es They are- ellos son We are- nosotros somos Past I was –yo fui/estuve You were- tú fuiste/estuviste He was- él fue/estuvo She was- ella fue/estuvo It was- objeto fue/estuvo They were- ellos fueron/ estuvieron We were- nosotros fuimos/ estuvimos

8 The verb To do/with questions
En ingles usamos el verbo hacer para empezar una pregunta Do you like school? Yes, I do Does he like school? Yes, he does Does she like school? Yes, she does Do we like school? Yes, we do. Do they like school? Yes, they do

9 She feels sick. She feels sick. He feels fine. He feels fine.
Present tense rules Add –s to the verb in the present tense for He, she , it subjects. No –s for We, they, you, I. She feels sick. He feels fine. We feel sick. They feel fine. I feel better.
