7 There are two things that destroy freedom: Things that are added to the gospel and those who add them.

8 First, you need to understand the message of the gospel.

9 Second, study under good teachers and keep your Bible open.
You want to make sure that verses are used in the context in which they were written.

10 Third, watch for some tell tale signs of false teachers.

The first danger is to understand freedom as license to sin without consequence.

14 The second danger is to take the freedom of others by playing spiritual policeman.
