2 So far… You have learned that reflexive verbs indicate that the subject of a sentence does the action to itself. Pablo se afeita. Claudia se maquilla. Winnie the Pooh se mira en el espejo. Patricia se baña.

3 Reciprocal reflexives
Reciprocal reflexives, on the other hand, express a shared or reciprocal action between two or more people or things. In this context, the pronoun means to each other or to one another. Ex. Mickey y Minnie se miran. Mickey and Minnie look at each other.

4 Plural Forms Only the plural forms of the reflexive pronouns (nos, os, se) are used to express reciprocal actions because the action must involve more than one person or thing. Ex. Cuando nos vimos en la calle, nos abrazamos. When we saw each other on the street, we hugged (one another). Ex. Ustedes se encontraron en el cibercafé. You met (each other) at the cybercafé. Ex. Nos ayudamos en la clase de español. We helped (each other) in Spanish class. Ex. Los novios se besaron en la boda suya. The bride and groom kissed (each other) at their wedding.
