Example: I see myself in the mirror. Ejemplo: Yo me veo en el espejo.

7 Many verbs may be used reflexively or not:
Example: I take a bath Ejemplo: Yo me baño. Example: I bathe the dog. Ejemplo: Yo baño el perro.

9 ¡¡¡¡¡¡Ojo!!!!!! When using reflexive pronouns with parts of the body and articles of clothing, you must use the definite article with body part / clothing, EVEN THOUGH IN ENGLISH YOU ALWAYS USE THE POSSESSIVE PRONOUN(my/your/his/her etc.)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

10 Example: I cut my finger.
Ejemplo: Yo me corto el dedo. Example: I put on my scarf? Ejemplo: ¿Yo me pongo la bufanda?

11 Los pronombres recíprocos
Use reciprocal pronouns with reciprocal actions, expressed in English with each other. Los pronombres recíprocos: nos se

12 Example: We love each other.
Ejemplo: Nos amamos. Example: They hate each other? Ejemplo: ¿Se odian?

13 ¡¡¡¡¡¡Ojo!!!!!! A sentence could be either reciprocal or reflexive.
How will you know? ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡CONTEXT!!!!!!!!!!

14 Ejemplo: Ellos se miran.
Example: They look at themselves. Example: They look at each other.

15 To clarify reciprocal sentences, use:
uno a otro (for 2 males or 1 male / 1 female) una a otra (for 2 females) unos a otros (for more than 2 males or at least 1 male / however many females) unas a otras (for more than 2 females)

16 Ejemplo: Ellos se miran uno a otro.
Example: They (2 males o 1 male / 1 female) look at each other.

17 To clarify reflexive sentences, use:
a mí mismo (a) - myself a ti mismo (a) - yourself a sí mismo (a) – himself, herself, itself a nosotros (as)\ mismos (as) - ourselves a ustedes mismos (as) - yourselves a sí mismos (as) - themselves

18 Ejemplo: Ellas se miran a sí mismas.
Example: They (2 females) look at themselves.
