5 How do we use Estar? Estar is used to describe things that aren’t permanent like.. Emotions and Location! Ex. Estoy en la biblioteca I am in the library Están en mi casa. They are at my house. Estamos en Dunkin Donuts. We are in Dunkin Donuts

9 What is Present Progressive?
When you want to say that an action is happening now, you use the present progressive. Está lloviendo! It’s raining!

10 The Present Progressive
When talking about what you are doing RIGHT NOW, you use the verb estar conjugated to say “I am” Then, you take a verb STEM and add either –ANDO (for – AR VERBS) or –IENDO (for –ER and –IR verbs)
