If a verb is a compound tense then the 2 parts of the Present Perfect are: 1. stem + ADO Regular AR Verbs planchar planch + ado = planchado (ironed) ahorrar ahorr + ado = ahorrado (saved) stem + IDO Regular ER/IR Verbs mantener manten + ido = mantenido (maintained) añadir añad + ido = añadido (added)
