2 I. Present Tense To talk about things you do now.
Also, things you do on a regular basis. We already know the conjugations for two verbs in the present tense: SER y TENER. How to conjugate ‘AR’ verbs: Drop the AR ending from the infinitive verb form. Add appropriate endings depending on subject.

3 II. Present Tense ‘AR’ Endings
All AR verbs share these endings in the present tense… (Using HABLAR as example.) HABLAR= to speak, talk (yo) hablo (nosotros) hablamos (tú) hablas (él/ella habla (ellos/ellas hablan Ud.) Uds.)

5 Llegar = to arrive llego llegamos llegas llega llegan

6 Pasar = to happen, pass by
paso pasamos pasas pasa pasan

7 III. Conjugating AR Verbs in Context
Mis amigos y yo (hablar) _____ español. Yo (llegar) ____ a la clase con amigos. La maestra (pasar) _____ por la clase. Los otros estudiantes (estudiar) ____ a veces. *** Pero, yo (estudiar) ____ siempre.
