6 To conjugate an –ar verb in the present tense you: CHOP & GLUE
CHOP: Chop off the –ar ending of the verb. Escuch ar -- After you chop, you’re left with the root or stem of the verb.

GLUE: Glue the –ar set of endings to the root of the verb. -o -amos -as -áis -a -an
