yo (I) nosotros nosotras (we) tú (you informal) vosotros vosotras (you all informal) él, ella (he/she) usted (Ud.)[you (formal)] ellos, ellas (they) ustedes (Uds.) (you all formal)

3 IN SPANISH, THERE ARE THREE TYPES OF VERBS: AR verbs (ex: hablar, cantar, bailar) ER verbs (ex: comer, poner, tener) IR verbs (ex: vivir, escribir, decir)

4 Verbs change depending on who is doing the action
Verbs change depending on who is doing the action. When you change the verb it is called a CONJUGATION Take a look at these AR verbs: HABLAR CANTAR BAILAR Notice that the above three verbs are all unchanged, meaning they are all in their original (unconjugated) state. You can tell when a verb hasn’t been conjugated because it will have either an AR, ER, or IR ending. An unconjugated verb is known as an INFINITIVE

5 To conjugate any regular AR verb, you follow these steps…
Write your verb: HABLAR Get rid of the AR. This leaves you with the STEM: HABLAR 3. Add the following endings to the stem: X  HABL yo –o nosotros, nosotras –amos tú –as vosotros, vosotras –áis él, ella, usted –a ellos, ellas, ustedes –an

6 This leaves you with your newly conjugated verb!
yo hablo (I speak) nosotros, nosotras hablamos (we speak) tú hablas (you (informal) speak) vosotros, vosotras habláis (you all speak) él, ella, usted habla (he/she speaks you (formal) speak) ellos, ellas, ustedes hablan (they/you all speak)
