It was assumed the vessel was always 90º out from the wall. People still survey this way. The MANUAL ENTRY program allows you to enter this data and store it to an ALL format file.

Its located under the Utilities – File work menu item. 3.Click From File and specify the ManualEntry.LNW file. Select Line 1. 4.Well enter a Gauge (tide) value of 2.5, meaning the river is 2.5 below datum. Ive loaded the file into the SINGLE BEAM EDITOR. The soundings and DBL match those entered in the MANUAL ENTRY table.
