1 Direct Object Nouns & Pronouns
A direct object is the word in a sentence that receives the action of the verb. It answers the questions, whom? what? Ejemplo: Luisa is buying the blouse. To find the direct object, we ask, “What is Lisa buying?” the blouse is the direct object.

2 In a sentence, the direct object can be a noun or a pronoun. Ejemplo:
Luisa is buying the blouse. Luisa is buying it. Remember that a pronoun replaces a noun. direct object noun direct object pronoun

7 VERY IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER:
When an infinitive follows a conjugated verb, the direct object pronoun can be placed before the conjugated verb or can be attached to the infinitive. Ejemplo: Quiero comprar zapatos negros. Los quiero comprar Quiero comprarlos.
