2 GUSTAR Use the verb “gustar” to state what you like “Gustar” is married to an indirect object pronoun, to identify who is doing the liking in a sentence. These pronouns are: singular plural 1 Me Nos 2 Te Os 3 Le Les

3 GUSTAR “Gustar” does not conjugate like regular verbs
Use “gusta” if there’s only one item that is liked io pronoun Me gusta el cereal. (I like cereal.) singular verb singular item

4 (You like strawberries.)
GUSTAR Use “gustan” when more than one item is liked io pronoun Te gustan las fresas. (You like strawberries.) plural verb plural item

5 To create negative sentences, place “no” in front of the “gustar” verb phrase.
No me gusta el café. ( I don’t like coffee) No nos gustan las manzanas. (We don’t like apples.) Use “nada” to say you don’t like something at all. No te gusta nada el pescado. (You don’t like fish at all.) NEGATIVE SENTENCES

6 THIRD PERSON IDENTIFIERS
When creating sentences for third person, use an additional identifier phrase to be clear about the subject. A ella le gustan las galletas. A Marco no le gusta la sopa de verduras A ustedes no les gusta la limonada. A Juan y Maria les gustan los huevos. THIRD PERSON IDENTIFIERS

7 ENCANTAR Use “encantar” to express how much you really like something.
All the rules for “gustar” apply to “encantar” ENCANTAR ¡Me encanta el arroz! I love rice! ¡Te encantan las papas fritas! You love french fries! ¡A él le encanta el helado! He loves ice cream!
