Spanish 2 Chapter 1 12 Review of Verbs in Spanish There are three types of verbs: -ar, -er, and –ir. When you look a verb up in the dictionary, you will find it in its infinitive form. Infinitive form means unconjugated or not changed to suit a subject and ends in –ar, -er, or –ir.
