Position of adjectives in Spanish  Adjectives generally follow the nouns in Spanish.  Los estudiantes inteligentes son de King.  Las actrices mexicanas hablan español.  Adjectives of quantity [mucho, poco, tanto] are placed before the nouns.  Hay muchos chicos en la clase de historia y hay pocas chicas.  Hay tantos problemas!

Position of adjectives in Spanish  Bueno / a and malo / a can be placed after or before a noun. When placed before a masculine singular noun, the forms are shortened:  Bueno > buenAlex es un buen amigo Alex es un amigo bueno  Malo > malHoy es un mal día Hoy es un día malo  When grande is before a singular noun, it is shortened to gran, and the meaning of the word changes.  Gran = greatgrande = big, large
