The Present Continuous!!! You are loving this tense already

ESTAR IS YOUR FRIEND To get along with the present continuous you must know estar conjugations in the present tense ESTOY! ESTÁS! ESTÁ! ESTAMOS! ESTÁIS! ESTÁN!

Los Participios You will also need the present participle of your verb. DON'T PANIC! These are easy to make. For an AR verb: Remove the AR Add ando For an ER/IR verb: Remove the ER/IR Add iendo CANTAR CANTANDO! COMER COMIENDO! VIVIR VIVIENDO

SIEMPRE HAY UNOS VERBOS MOLESTOS Some verbs decide to stem change, it is all the usual ones Other verbs decide they want to turn their iendo to a yendo because it looks better. CORREGIRMENTIRDORMIR CORRIGIENDOMINTIENDODURMIENDO LEER LEYENDO On the plus side lots of usually irregular verbs are regular and lovely

FINALMENTE! Making the tense is as simple as putting these two together Take the correct part of estar Add the present participle of your chosen verb TADA! I am eating Estar (I) + comer (present participle) Estoycomiendo!

PERO – ¿LOS VERBOS REFLEXIVOS? It's all going swimmingly then you hit a reflexive verb. Ducharse - Estoy duchando – ¿donde está el se? You have two options and they're both nice. Option 1 – Easy option Simply stick the reflexive pronoun in front of it all Me estoy duchando Option 2 – Pretty option Attach it to the present participle. But beware! If you do this you must put an accent on the ándo or the iéndo Estoy duchándome
