Focus in Reading Listening and Learning  Students learn new content and gain information through interesting read alouds, classroom discussions, and paired work. Phonics  Students will be reviewing and learning new phonics sounds and spellings in order to develop stronger word recognition skills using a program called Fundations. Leveled Reading  Students will work in small groups as well as independently at their level in order to develop reading comprehension skills.
