Pollutant Release and Transfer Registers (PRTR) Article 7.7 of the Negotiating text prepared by the Presiding Officers (“Compilation text”) : “Each Party shall create, administer and periodically update a pollutant release and transfer register for the air, water, soil and subsoil, materials and waste in its jurisdiction, among others. The registered information will be public and electronically accessible and will contain disaggregated and standardized data.” Belize: Chapter 328 Environmental Protection Act (1992), article 4 (i): [The powers, duties and functions of the Department shall be to-] maintain a register of all wastes, discharges, emissions, deposits or other sources of emission or substances which are of danger or potential danger to the environment.
