THE SAME RULES APPLY!!!!!  1. BEFORE A CONJUGATED VERB  2. AFTER (attached to it) A “NOT” AN INFINITIVE (ar, er, ir) AN INFINITIVE (ar, er, ir) A PRESENT PARTICIPLE (ando, iendo) A PRESENT PARTICIPLE (ando, iendo)

 INDIRECT COMES FIRST

 Mi profesora dio una nota buena a mí.  Mi profesora me la dio.  La chica mandó una invitación a nosotros.  La chica nos la mandó.

 Elena va a comprar un regalo para ti.  Elena va a comprártelo.  Elena te lo va a comprar.  Roberto está escribiendo una carta a nosotras.  Roberto está escribiéndonosla.  Roberto nos la está escribiendo.

BUT…  When both pronouns (d.o & i.o.) are the third person:  (Lo, la le or los, las les)  Change the le or les to SE

 Raúl dio la carta a Elena.  Raúl se la dio.  Miguel va a prestar su coche a Raúl.  Miguel va a prestárselo.  Miguel se lo va a prestar.  Tú estabas escribiendo un poema a ellas.  Tú estabas escribiéndoselo.  Tú se lo estabas escribiendo.
