Las reglas: 1.Some verbs drop the e of the infinitive ending before adding the endings of the future. Ex:caber - to fit → drop the e and you have cabr → then you add the future endings cabré cabremos cabrás cabréis cabrá, cabrán Los libros cabrán en la mochila. → The books will fit in the backpack.
Other verbs that drop the e of the infinitive ending: haber - to have (auxiliary verb) habré habremos habrás habréis habrá habrán poder - to be able to/ can podré podremos podrás podréis podrá podrán
querer - to want, to wish querré querremos querrás querréis querrá querrán saber - to know sabré sabremos sabrás sabréis sabrásabrán
2. The following verbs replace the e or i of the infinitive ending with a d before adding the endings of the future. poner → to put/ to place → pondré, pondrás, pondrá, pondremos, pondréis, pondrán salir → to go out/ to leave → saldré, saldrás, saldrá, saldremos, saldréis, saldrán tener → to have → tendré, tendrás, tendrá, tendremos, tendréis, tendrán
Other verbs that replace the e or i of the infinitive ending with a d before adding the endings of the future. valer → to be worth → valdré, valdrás, valdrá, valdremos, valdréis, valdrán venir → to come → vendré, vendrás, vendrá, vendremos, vendréis, vendrán
3. The following verbs drop the e and c before adding the future endings. decir → to say/ tell → diré, dirás, dirá, diremos, diréis, dirán hacer → to do/ make → haré, harás, hará, haremos, haréis, harán
