 Remember when you are conjugating (changing the verb), you remove the ending from the infinitive to get the verb’s stem. Then you add the new ending.

Alonso come ensaladas y yo como bocadillos. Después de las clases vamos a un café. Yo leo el menú y doy la orden al mesero. El mesero escribe la orden.
