Present Progressive Tense  Is used to…describe what is occurring NOW.  It is the –ing form in English.  To form the present progressive you need a conjugation of ESTAR followed by the second verb conjugated by dropping the –ar and adding ando or –er/-ir and adding iendo.

ESTAR: TO BE Estoy : I am Estamos : We are Estás : you are Está : he is, she is, you are (formal) Están : they are, y’all are

Ejemplos: 1. Estoy escuchando. 2. Ella está llorando. 3. Ellos están trabajando.  Start with the verb ESTAR and conjugate it for the subject  AKA: PICK your PRONOUN.  Then take your verb and add ando or iendo. 1. I’m listening. 2. She is crying. 3. They are working.
