TRIGGER PHRASES… The following phrases tell us we will use the FUTURE tense: - Esta noche - El próximo año - La semana que viene - La próxima semana - Mañana - En Este fin de la semana - El 28 de mayo, 2014 → Tonight → Next year → Next week →“The week that’s coming” → Tomorrow → In 2021 (future year) →This weekend → May 28 th, 2014 (future date)

There are two ways we can talk about what will happen in the future in both Spanish and English. We just went over the “WILL” version of the FUTURE tense. To create the “I AM GOING TO” future tense, follow the following model: IR in the present tense + the word a + verb in the INFINITIVE 1.
