 The word no and any object or reflexive pronoun are placed immediately before haber. Yo no he comido la merienda. Ella se ha acostado temprano.  Use tener when to have is used as a main verb and haber when it is used as an auxiliary verb. Tengo muchos amigos. He tenido bastante comida.  To form the present perfect of hay, use ha habido. Ha habido un accidente en la calle Central.
