Subject Pronouns  To use a verb in a sentence, you need a subject or someone that is doing the action that is indicated by the verb.  In English, we say 1. I walk to school. 2. You walk to school. 3. He/she walks to school. 4. We walk to school. 5. They walk to school.

Ar verbs  In Spanish, there are three types of verbs: verbs that end in ar, er, and ir.  The largest group of verbs are those ending in ar.  Before a verb is conjugated, it is called an infinitive.  In order to use a verb with a subject pronoun, you must conjugate it.

To conjugate an ar verb, drop the ar ending, and add these endings: Yoo Túas Él, ella, usteda Nosotros/asamos Ellos, ellas, ustedesan
