 Present Progressive:  “ing”  Happening RIGHT NOW  Estar + PP (present participle)  Regular PP: ▪ -AR verbs: remove ending and add –ando ▪ -ER/-IR verbs: remove ending and add -iendo

 Remember that –ar and –er ending stem changing verbs DO NOT have a stem change when forming a PP.  -IR verb ending stem changing verbs DO have a change in the PP.  Examples of this kind of verb: ▪ Dormir (o:ue) ▪ Servir (e:i) ▪ Preferir (e:ie)
